In partnership with Casa Corpului Didactic Constanta, in this course we will explore ways to approach holistic and humanistic education. We will experience hands on activities you can use in class that make learning touchy, meaningful and relevant for your students. You will get to meet like-minded teachers with whom you can exchange ideas and collaborate. It’s an invitation to challenging our creativity, explore and experience new, innovative techniques in English Language Teaching which stimulate, motivate and increase students’ language acquisition and their self-development.

We will meet twice a month, for 2 hours each, starting with January 30th until June 2024.

Carmen Florescu

Carmen Florescu teaches English at “Constantin Brătescu” National Pedagogical High School, Constanța, where she also acts as a teaching advisor for trainee primary school teachers and English teachers. She holds a Master’s degree in Romanian Studies (2004) from Ovidius University of Constanta and a PhD in English Literature (2018) from the same university. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Sciences (Pedagogy) (2022) from the University of Bucharest and a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences (Psychopedagogic and University Didactics) (2013) from Free International University of Moldova.
